New Content Feed
As we continue to improve the user experience in the platform for organising and filtering content, we have made some major changes to the filters bar that appear on top of the content feed.
Users and admins can search for content that was published between specific dates and they can also now choose to hide all content that they have already shared from the feed completely. The filters also have a handy reset button to make a new search of content a lot easier.
In addition to the new filter, users can also search content that has been tagged to different categories, those being Strategic Content, Internal Content and Evergreen Content.
Strategic Content: Content designated by the admins and curators as the most important pieces of content to be shared. Bear in mind that each organisation applies its own definition of strategic and will tag the content they deem as relevant in this category. Such content will appear in the feed with a colour tag in yellow.
Internal Content: Content made available within the platform by the admins as internal comms. Normally this content tends to be updates on progress of the program, shoutouts to team members or polls made by the admins to gather feedback. This type of content will appear in the feed with a colour tag in purple.
Evergreen content: Oftentimes admins and curators craft posts that can be used for longer periods of times, and can be considered continually relevant, evergreen content and can be recycled to be used on several occasions, as it remains fresh and relevant. This type of content will appear in the feed with a colour tag in green.
